OCTOBER HALF TERM

Wondering what to do in the Half Term Holidays?

St Leonard’s and St Ives Tennis Club invite you to play in some fun and sporty activities………..

7 years and upwards only        9.00-3.00pm         Tennis coaching

The course is designed ideally for the four days (Tuesday to Friday) and takes each player through all the different strokes needed in tennis. You will learn how to hit and further improve your forehands, backhands, serve, volley, smashes and play matches.

The groups will be split into three age groups, players will then be able to play with similar ages and abilities and use the appropriate colour ball. Total beginners and the more advanced players will therefore both be catered for.

7-8 yrs             Orange Balls                9.00-3.00pm                 

9-10yrs             Orange & Green Balls  9.00-3.00pm                 

11yrs+             Yellow Balls                 9.00-3.00pm                 

Each of the groups will have a specific coach to work with, but every day to finish we will play lots of games and an additional sport to Tennis as a big group for extra fun!

4-7 years only               3.30-5.30pm                  Tennis Coaching

The course is designed ideally for the four days (Tuesday to Friday). As well as learning the basic strokes in tennis there will be lots of co-ordination skills, racket skills, rallying and lots of fun games.

4-7YRS ONLY              PER SESSION (3.30-5.30pm)    MEMBERS £8.00           NON MEMBER £10.00

4-7YRS ONLY              ALL FOUR SESSIONS             MEMBERS £24.00         NON MEMBERS £30.00

All you need to bring is a drink, packed lunch, waterproof clothing and your tennis racket (if you have one).

All other equipment is provided.   

To join in the fun, please complete the attached form and return it with payment (cheques made payable to ‘Paul Handford’) to St. Leonards & St. Ives Tennis Club marked for my attention to the above address.

Please note our club is Club Mark Accredited and Satellite Accredited and all of our coaches are qualified licensed tennis coaches, who are CRB checked and first aid trained.

Our club has first class all weather courts and clubhouse, so we can still play in rain, and in the case of very bad weather, we have indoor activities ready.
