The Club serves the village of St Leonards & St Ives which is located in central southern England, around 20 minutes north of the seaside town of Bournemouth.
The Club has a membership of 180 (both juniors and seniors). Members are offered a mixture of external league play, internal tournaments and social events. The Club has 4 courts - all with floodlights, and a first storey Clubhouse (with disabled access), that overlooks the courts. The courts are available to be used at any time of day (up to 10pm) apart from set Club times e.g. club nights and junior coaching sessions. During 2005 all the courts were resurfaced with astroturf and these now provide players with a first-class surface.
There is no playing-in standard therefore the Club caters for all abilities but insists on a high standard of dress. As a member you receive a personal court & clubhouse key, so you can play at any time to suit your convenience. The Club also enters 7 senior teams in the local leagues (Mens doubles x 3, Ladies doubles x 2 & Mixed doubles x 2) plus numerous junior teams in the NJCL.
